This is his last night as a 4 year old. He is so cute and sweet. He sleeps with that blue blanket every night and takes it with him sometimes when we go places. He also has a lot of stuffed animals in bed with him every night.
We celebrated his birthday as a family of 4 before church. He was excited to open his presents. We usually do a toy, a book, and an outfit. But, there were so many fun things that we got him a couple extra this year.
He got a new red scooter and was thrilled with it!
We also got a bow and arrow that he has asked for since Seth got one a couple years ago.
He wanted a Maui party and we found these Maui and Moana legos.
This is him opening a little remote controlled robot.
He couldn't believe it.
Elli got him some fake gold when we were in Utah. He loves treasure so this was a big hit!
we had his Maui party Sunday evening. He wore this new outfit we got for him. Elli helped him get all tattooed up like Maui.
Kissing his big muscles.
Showing how strong he is. He has really been into exercising and getting muscles. He does push ups and sit ups and even runs a little. He wants to eat healthy and asks what these types of foods are doing for his body.
And we also have to have a "dab" picture:) He was thoroughly impressed with his cake too. I made it look like Maui's hook and he couldn't believe it. I also made crab cupcakes.
Sadly, he got stung by a wasp while playing on the play set. He was so sad and it really hurt. Nana made a little mix of soda and water to help the sting go away He got a little obsessive about the paste and couldn't do anything else while it was on his hand.
The kids made blow darts and blew them at Maui's "butt cheek" that Kyle set up on the wall in the basement.
For present time, Luka and Wesley kindly agreed to open all his gifts since he had a hurt hand!!!! We made a compromise that whomever had gotten the gift could help Micah open it. That worked out great.
Great little helpers.
Micah got so many great gifts.
He asked Lauren Wolf for yarn! She got him lots of colors and they have been used for all kinds of imagination projects.
Nana got him these balloons.
Oh how he has asked for this hook. Mom and dad got it for him.
Liam came too and Micah was so happy to have him here.
Great grandma got him this Maui doll.
Gloria and Francine helped him open their gift of a transformer.
Time for cake!
He was still favoring his hand but it didn't stop him from blowing out his candles and digging in to the cake and ice cream.
The kids were all excited for their share.
I love this family picture. It is a great one I think of all of us. We had so much fun celebrating this little guy that brings so much joy and laughter to our home.
