Let me start with this story. Elli asked me why her Bible split up the story about Jesus dying on the cross and his resurrection. She did not feel like any child should have to go to bed only hearing about Jesus dying. So, she had Brent finish reading the next story, telling of Jesus rising from the dead. I love the truth that this story holds for us. I am thankful the story did not end in Jesus's death, but in his conquering of death!
The kids baskets. The bunny left riddles again. Elli found hers right away. She was very excited:)
Finding all the eggs. Pretty soon she is going to have to share the fun with Micah, but this year, he was happy to stay sleeping while Elli got up early before church to find it all.
Our tradition for the past few years is to get the Masters and Raymonds together for an Easter morning picture. Madilynn, Cody, Caleb, Elijah, Andrew, Caroline, Emma Grace, Lucia, Lily, Ellianna, Micah:) Love these kids.
Paula, myself, and Sherry. I really do love these girls and thier friendship.
Family picture at mom and dad's house. We are all in pink. Brent told Elli, "real men wear pink." She responded with, "You mean dead men don't wear pink?" hehehe
Lots of fun watching the kids play with their easter basket goodies. Elli loves her camel bak water bottle.
Micah was having fun putting his basket over his head and sucking in his breath!
Gloria couldn't get enough of all the easter basket grass. It was everywhere!
Wesley and Luka liked their head lights:) Wesley is trying to get away from all the action here.
I tried for a close up of both of us, but this is all I got.
At the end of the day, we showed Micah his basket at home. He loved the new balls.
So serious about them. He couldn't figure out which one to play with:)
