Sunday Night at Broadway at the Beach

He was actually so excited to ride this carousel.  It reminded me of Elli with her serious face while having the time of her life.  I guess Micah kept asking Brent, "What he's names?"  He wanted to know the name of each animal on the ride;)
Elli chose to ride this huge slide.  She looked a little nervous climbing all the way up, but that face was quickly replaced with a huge smile as she flew down!
 "Look at that dragon, Mommy!"
Yes, it is a dinosaur, but Micah thought it was a dragon so he repeatedly blew his fire breath on us the rest of the night.  Hehehe
 I thought this was hilarious.
Pretty cute too.  We have had a great first couple of days.  Vacation is awesome.

Family Pictures on the Beach

 Posed but cute.
 Not posed and adorable.
Both checking out the water and sand.
Totally not posed of these two with the waves crashing in.  I love how Elli was holding onto him to make sure he was steady on his feet.
Elli was showing Micah how to smack his hands together to get the sand off:)
Elli snapped this of the two of us.
We found a nice family to take one picture of us before we left.  We attempted several with the self timer and a trash can.  This one was the best.
She is looking and acting so grown up.
Crazy little guy and a lot of fun.
Check out these two little cuties.  Sure loving this time together.

Sunday afternoon at the pools

Micah LOVES the pirate ship play area.  He slides down those slides over and over.
He kept wanting me to take a picture of his big splash.
 He just kept going.
Love his sweet little face here bracing for the splash.
Elli prefers to swim in the bigger pool that also has a lazy river.  She likes to swim i nthe river without the tubes because she says she goes fast!
Here is the pirate ship pool area.  Lots of splash park type things with the pirate ship you see here.
There is also another set of slides on this octopus, as well as the tower slide in the background.  Elli and Brent enjoy that one!
Elli does have fun here too though.
 You sure to get wet!
Micah likes to drive the boat!
Brent took Micah up for a nap and Elli and I stayed to play.
We got a little tired and she needed a snack:)  Great day of water fun.  We went in at about 3:30.  That was a long day in the sun and we could feel it.

Days 1-2, Saturday and Sunday

I forgot my camera on the first day but we spent several hours in the pool.  On Sunday, we went to the beach first thing in the morning.   Both kids loved it.  Mica hcouldn't wait to use his new beach toys:)
We saw a jellyfish and Micah touched it.  Ewwww
 Tried to get a selfie.
Our tradition to put our prints in the sand.  Brent, Lori, Elli, Micah from left to right.
Heading out to test the waves.
I kind lady running by offered to take our picture.
Micah was working on a sand castle.
My pretty girl being a good sport about helping with the sand castle:)
The finished product only lasted for a little while because really all Micah wanted to do was knock it down.  This happened several times and brought so much joy each time it happened.
Both kids also really enjoyed playing in the waves.  Elli kept getting braver and wanting to go deeper to try to ride the waves back to shore.  It is really so fun to be in the ocean!

Myrtle Beach May 29-June 6!

We left about 1:00 on Friday, May 29th. I got the kids a new movie, something about a sea turtle, and off we went.
Micah was so excited when we got to the hotel in Greensboro, NC>  He kept saying, "We on a cation."

May 29, 2015 Elli's last day of school

Mrs. Stephens had cinnamon rolls for the kids to enjoy.  Elli shared hers with Micah.
Each of the kids wrote kind words to describe each other and Mrs. Stephens turned it into a wordal for the kids.  Elli's has wonderful things to describe her from her classmates.  Such a great idea.
Mrs. Stephens gave each of the kids an award.  Elli got "The future teacher" award!
This was such a great year for Elli.  She ended the year with all A and A- for the fourth quester and A, A-, and one B+ (math) for the year. We are very proud of how hard she has worked and have loved having Mrs/ Stephens for her teacher.  Elli also received awards for the Extra Nile Honor Roll, Commendable Honor Roll and Super Homework Star.  Great job!

Rounding out Memorial Day Weekend

 Selfies with Micah
Lance and Lana were able to present at Centerville Christian Fellowship.   They did a great job of sharing how they have come to this point of following the Lord into PMA missions.
Lilli wanted to be part of the stage!  I teared up several times listening again to their story and marveling at how God has chosen to give them intricate details showing his hand.
Elli got to put on Lance's flying helmet.

 Sprinkler time!

They thought the trampoline was more fun with the sprinkler.
Sweet Luis playing in the sun and water too.
Everett and Luis splashing with Lana.
Elli painted Lilli's nails for her.
All the kids were working on coloring and legos with Nana.
 Zoned out on Rescue Bots:)
Ha!  Nana and Brent working on Liam's legos trying to find out if the missing piece was already placed.  They found it!
Lilli wanted me to read her some books.
And then these two came up for reading time too.
Luis hanging out with uncle Brent.
Only missing Aria and Colette.  Not too much longer until we will all be together.
These two played so very well together.  It was fun watching them.
It was also fun watching these two play.  They have been doing really well playing together lately.
These two are so sweet, sometimes.  They were playing "horse" very happily.  I love these moments.
Now Elli is the horse!
We had a great weekend visiting with so many friends and family.
