July Celebrations

We played in the sprinkler!  It was so hot I got in too. Lenny is our neighbor and Micah is really going to miss him when we move.  We also cleaned the house like crazy because we were going to have another showing.  We had one last week, one while we were gone, and one tonight.
The family loved our house and put an offer in at 8:00.  We are working on a counter offer! We met with Linda Tse the next day to get her input and put in our counter offer.  We sold our home the next day!!!!

We drove up to Duane's house on July 4th.  The kids played all day with their cousins.  Elli especially enjoyed talking with her cousin Hayden:)  She asked on the way home if you could marry your cousins:)
Nana gave Micah a birthday gift of candy and sparklers.
The next day we dropped Elli off at church for Bible study and took Madilynn home with us.  Micah went with Sherry.  Brent and I went to the new house to finish the foam board in the basement.  We took Madilynn home and got Micah kind of late, but everyone was happy with their day!
Coming along.  This is the part where it seems like nothing much happens as the work on the inside is slower.  It has been fun watching it go up and come together though.  There have been some frustrations, but it is moving forward.

Canada Continued

I was giving lots of rides and having a blast.
He wanted to go faster, faster, faster!
Sweet boy.  I think he was a little confused that I was good at driving the four wheeler.
 I took Rett out.
And Rayna (who asked me if I was pregnant:)
 Sweet little Grant with Elli.
I happen to love this photo of the out house.  I want to print it for our new house.
Letting Micah get some driving in.
 Cutie!
 faster, daddy!
Elli learning to drive it on her own.
She got quite confident the more she drove it.
 Hehehe
Kyle put the kids in the corn bin.
Look at the dust!  They literally turned bright white!  We had them strip down and Larry sprayed them off.
We laughed so hard at this!  Look at those skinny kids and white booties!  Oh, the laughter and memories.
Giving grandpa a kiss and hug goodbye.
We had a big family lunch at Carl and Ann's before we left.  It was a good weekend.  Lots of fun memories made and good family time.

June 30 Trip to Canada

We got there on Friday and stayed with Carl and Ann.  We went right to visit with Grandpa early Saturday morning and to spend some time on the farm.  Grandpa is looking a little weak.
He was happy to see us though and gave us a good smile.
We convinced him to let us push him over to the farm house to see all the work Larry had done over the past five years.
He was quite impressed.  It wore him out a bit but it was good to see him outside!
What is a trip to the farm without four-wheeling!
Nathan and Alicia got married on the 30th.  It was a beautiful wedding.
Lots of family!  It was fun to be there to celebrate with them and see family.

June Happenings and Kings Island

I took Kyle and Meg's kids to Costco and they came over to play afterwards.
 We are seeing progress.
I watched Leah's kids at her house.  We played and had a good day together.
It was rainy off and on but we got out of the house long enough for a swim.
We decided to run to Kings Island after dinner.  It was pouring the rain and we all got soaked!!!!  We ran straight to the Cirque de sole show.  It was good and the kids wanted to meet all the actors afterwards.  The rain stopped enough for us to enjoy rides as well.
Meeting the actors in the show.
 Sweet little Ruby.
All of us at the sign.
 Leah and kids.
 Just the kids.
 Just us!

 Riding rides together.
 Picture with Snoopy!
Big kid rides!  Micah is tall enough for lots of rides and loved it.
I talked the kids into riding the Vortex but it gives me such a headache that I walked through.  They loved it.

Elli convinced Leah to ride the Banshee!  I cannot believe Leah did it:)

June 23rd Race Day

Brent is taking the kids to Olive Garden for dinner while I get ready for the Dayton Glow Run 10K.
I had a light headband which worked great for the run. We also bought the t-shirts.
We ran it in 1 hour 1 min and 27 seconds.  We were really hoping to come in at 1 hour but we ran great.  We started and ended at Welcome Stadium.  Fun experience.

June 21st

The tooth fairy was good to Micah!  He got $20 and Dispicable Me 3!  He was so excited and he is absolutely adorable.
 Bed hair!
We had a garage sale.  We also rented a storage unit.  Brent has been packing some boxes and taking them over.  Seth and Micah were riding their bikes back and forth to each other's houses in between rain showers and even decided to sell lemonade and brownies.
Elli was taking selfies with Bellah!
Brent and dad went over to the new house to line the walls with styrofoam.  They worked until 1am.
