March 24th

Micah took a little time to cut the table for us as his way of fixing it.
We had Aria and Colette for a bit.
Cuties!  I love it when they play dress up.  Micah takes his part seriously.
Now time to color Easter eggs.  We didn;t have anyone join us this time.  Sad.  We usually have a friend or two over for this event.
They did a great job and were very serious about it.
Beautiful and delicious.  Elli just fully realized that the yellow was the yoke, not cheese! Hehehe

March 24th-PPC Easter Egg Hunt

We once again held an Easter egg hunt t PPC.  I lead the bigger kids in a production of the story of Jesus's last week.  I do this each year and the kids remember it and even came preparedw ith costume pieces this year!
 Go get 'em, Micah!
 Gloria looking as well.
We take 12, we leave with 12.  I only wish Elli had been able to join this year.

March 23rd

Hawaiin night at AWANA.  They also played a really fun game.
How many balls can you get under your basket while riding on a scooter and being pushed out and puled in?  Hungry hippos!

March 19th, Leah's Birthday Celebration

 Ummm, adorable:)
Leah, surrounding by kiddos while opening presents. Who would have ever thought she would allow such a thing!
Micah very excited to give her our gift.
Missing Ruby but still a cute picture.
Obligatory family pictures on her birthday.  Really glad we always do this though.
It is special to have grandma at our celebrations as well.
 Just sisters being silly.
I also love that we get a family picture in our green on Leah's birthday very year!

Cedarcliff Basketball Camp

Elli has always been hesitant to take on team sports.  She is a little fearful of being the reason the team doesn't win, of making a mistake, of being made fun of, etc.  So when her school offered a camp, she was so excited.  She did very well and has decided she might actually want to play!
She was pretty good at making baskets.
Yes!

March 14th Colette is Here!

After a month plus of near death experience and hospital stays, Colette is back in the states.  On Feb 8, we got a call that Colette was very sick.  What followed was a scary time where Colette's temperature rose drastically, she had many seizures, some that made Jenna think she had died, she went to a close by hospital where they thought she had cerebral malaria, then she was transferred by plane to Abijan down south where they tried to get her non-functioning kidneys to work.  She was then transferred to Paris with the rest of her family where they gave a diagnosis of  HUS a rare reaction to severe e-coli.  She was in a precarious state of health and her story is amazingly detailed, but she was able to travel to Dayton where a wonderful Nephrologist took on her case.
We are so thankful to see her sweet face and to spend time with her.  Holding her for the first time was such an emotional experience after spending hours and hours praying that God would restore her health.
She is an amazing answer to prayer.  Micah would pray, "Thank you for my God (how he starts every prayer) that you heal Colette."  I love that his pray was said in the positive and I used it as an example in how I pray.  Why not pray as if He has already done it!
Aria needed lots of prayer as well as she watched the ups and downs of her sister's health and her parents' reactions.  So glad to have them close for a while.

Just because they are Cute

Look at this cutie patootie!  Going to miss those little buns;)
He and Elli were playing with their animals and designed a way to carry them in their blankets.
 School with Elli!
He loves this blanket and uses it when he sleeps, plays, and travels.  I love that it is the same kind of blanket that I had growing up. (I mean still have though mine is yellow)

March 1st Welcome Baby Grant

 It's a boy!!!!  Grant Isaiah
Elli wanted her time but I am as always, unwilling to share for long.
Of course Micah had to hold him as well.
 And then Brent.
I was able to hold this sweet boy a little more before leaving.  Megan and Grant are doing well and ready to meet the rest of the family!

The Night Before... Feb 29th

I was privileged to be called by Kyle and Meg on Tuesday night to come and sleep there while Meg went into the hospital to have baby number 4.  We cannot wait to meet the new little one.  Hopefully tomorrow?

Feb 26th we Celebrated Sweet Rayna's 4th Birthday with a Frozen Theme

I found this doggie in a purse months earlier and couldn't wait to give it to her.  She loved it!!!!
 Sweet little girl.
Love her little face and her cheeks here blowing out these candles.
 Big bite little girl!
Sweet Rayna, how fun to watch you grow over these last 4 years.  We love you.

Goof Balls

I love the times when they play together well and make each other laugh and smile as well as me.
This was one of those days.  "Horsey ride!"

5 Days after the Snow

It was warm enough to wash the car outside:)

Feb 15, maybe the last snow, get out there!

Micah and I made a snow man.  He loved it!!!!  This is the first time it was snowman making snow.  It was warming up and we were actually getting hot:)
 His buddy
Micah truly loved this guy and was talking to him and playing with him.  He hugged him several times:)
Micah was ad he didn't have arms so we helped him get some arms.
We also had time to make a fort.  Love spending time with this guy and am thankful for the time we get.
