Christmas Get together Dec 29

 We went to Julie and Trevor's apartment complex for a get together with the Moran's.  We got to see Grandma.  She was down this way visiting.

Chris and Julie were also in town.  Fun to see extended family and play games together.

Christmas with the Brown's

 Once again, lots of presents:)  Elli was so excited she could hardly stand the wait!

 Gloria was so happy with the baby doll we got for her.  Gary had to get her out right away.

 My family all went together to get Brent a wireless keyboard for his new tv.  He was very happy:)

 Notice Luka's change of clothing.  This was due to the act that he started throwing up.  In fact, we cut the gift opening short because he couldn't stop throwing up.  Dad ended up getting it a couple hours laer, Heather a couple hours after dad, and then Wesley and Matt the next night.  Not the most fun part of Christmas.

I believe Elli got everything she asked for.  Dream lite from Leah and Matt, magna dots from mom and dad, and Slushy magic from Heather and Gary! 

This picture is a little out of order, but I got to the end and realized I had no pictures of Matt.  It is always fun to get together with family even though there were so sick little guys.

SNOW!!!!!

 What a fun Christmas.  It snowed the day after Christmas and gave us a chance to play, finally!  Elli loves to make snow angels.

 Boy do I love this sweet little face.  My baby is getting so big:)

 She lost a tooth two weeks ago.  Still love that smile.

We could not get the snow to roll, but we sure got a cute snowman out of it anyway

Dec 27, Christmas morning at home

Elli got an outfit complete with Bella Ballerina shoes, three new books, two new movies, (which are as much for Brent as Elli since they are in 3D!), and a camper lego set.
It was fun to see their little faces opening their gifts. Sure do love this excitement.  Micah will be more excite next year to see the presents.  This year he just loved the paper:)  Elli was excited about it all!

Christmas with the Fergusons in Michigan

 The guys, with a little help from the kiddos, chopped some wood for the fireplace and for a neighbor.

We took a drive down the road in order to deliver the large trunk piece.

The Fergusons also like to shoot their guns.

 The kids opened one gift on Christmas Eve.  For Elli and Micah, it was new jammies, and Seth got a thermos and a train.

 Micah likes his new jammies, and wrapping paper.

 Christmas morning, delicious baked french toast.  I think this will need to be a new tradition in our family.

 Then, the cousins needed a little jumping time on the mattress.

And, finally, presents!  We had a great time in Michigan and have many wonderful memories from our trip. 

Grandma's Poem

 Grandma, at 85 years, is still writing poems.  She was asked to read her poem about Christmas for the program at her church, First Baptist Church of Kettering.  She did a great job and the poem was amazingly well written.

 We celebrated Elli's 1st Christian birthday on Dec 15th with some friends, resurrection rolls, and a reminder of what Jesus did for us so that we could have salvation from our sins.

Elli got all dressed up for her last day of school before Christmas break.  I was able to join for her class party.  When she goes back after the break, they will move into the new school.  Fun times.
