We are going to spend our last few days getting it all in. We rode the slides, explored as many of the pools as we could find, visited the beaches and even ate lots more yummy food.
Again, those plastic cups were awesome.
More faces by Micah
Sweetest girl ever. She wore her hat more so her head didn't get sunburned where the braids were.
Soaking up as many rays as possible.
I love these two.
We found this other, smaller kids pool, with a small lazy river. The kids enjoyed jumping off their tubes and swimming with the current. Brent and I enjoyed the relaxation of it.
Getting braver and better at swimming though he still needed a vest when he was by himself.
Hair hawk! That is Micah's word for a mohawk. Love him. One thing I haven't talked about is the super fun a wild "lazy" river ride. We spent many hours on it this week and loved it. Micah could enjoy a wild ride with us as there were times of rapids, waves, and tunnels. Brent and Elli actually tipped over a couple of times and she got a little afraid of it, but when she saw she could ride it easier with me, she was ready again. We got to spend some one on one time with each of the kids. The only thing we couldn't really do, at least with ease, was ride together with each other. Brent and I left the kids at the bottom of the line a couple of times so we could ride a ride together, but many of the rides didn't dump you where you started, so we had to do much either alone, or taking turns with Elli. (when she was willing and not afraid) In all though, we had a blast and could see ourselves here again in the future.
We went to another restaurant that came with recommendation. While we were there, we saw a Bahamian wedding! It was a beautiful place and the food was delicious.
All week long, the kids were admiring the limos that were pulling up constantly. They kept asking if they could ride in one to which we always replied, "no!" Well, Elli asked the bellman if she could look inside. He said sure and the next thing we know, the driver has put on a kids show and offered to drive us to the main campus of the Atlantis for $10. So, we got to ride in a limo!!! The kids were on cloud 9 to say the least!!!!
He was so very kind and I think he was happy about it too.
The ceilings were decorated everywhere but it was hard to get a good picture.
Last moments on the beach and someone took this great picture of us.
So fun to watch the sun set each night.
Rope bridge at night.
Micah talked a gentleman into making him a fish. With his smile, how can anyone say no!
Breakfast before our flight. We are really sad to be leaving but have thoroughly enjoyed our time.
What a great week of memory making and fun.
