Family picture in front of the Eiffel Tower
First subway ride. At this point, Micah is still not eating much and has been crying more. I thought the time change would just effect the sleeping.
Notre Dame
Sweet kiddos.
Breath taking.
It actually brings tears to my eyes when I see how gorgeous and intricate the work was on this cathedral.
We found many parks on this trip. This one had a swing!
Our first trip to the top of the Eiffel Tower was not a success. So, Brent took Elli back out for the light show at night. I was in the hotel room with Micah and was getting slightly worried about them. They were gone for a long time! But look at that smile:)
Overlooking the city.
Elli loved this.
Cool to see the city all lit up at night.
Hehehe
Driving into Paris. Elli was so excited to see the Eiffel Tower.Just to help give perspective on how huge this structure is!
Elli thought this was really cool to see a living statue.
Micah screamed once we got out of the elevator. He was afraid of heights and it was really cold. So, this is our only shot on the Eiffel Tower with Micah. We did however see some very nice people. One couple gave Micah a candy bar while in line. Another lady snuggled Elli in the wind while we were waiting on the elevator to come back done. We eventually just walked down the stairs with a screaming baby.
We decided to eat hot dogs in the park. These hot dogs however were about a foot long, in hard bread, and covered in hot and spicy dijon mustard! Needless to say, between all four of us, we didn't even eat one.
Jenna asked for this pose. Elli loved it. She looks so cute:)
We walked by Napolean's tomb but Elli didn't want to go see it.
A family picture in front of Notre Dame. Brent found $100 euro on the ground outside the church. Wow!
We found a nutella crepe stand on the street. Micah and Elli didn't really like it as much. Brent and I of course loved it!
Another view.
We went to the Louvre, but only outside by the park.
Elli and Brent played hide-n-seek in all the bushes while Micah slept. Then, I took Elli shopping to find a Paris shirt. She picked one out for herself and one for Micah. Micah was really not eating and was very grouchy. we ended up going to McDonalds to try to get some familiar food. He wanted nothing to do with the food, but enjoyed the ice cream. That was about all he ate for two to three days. He did get better though.
Our last stop was by the Opera House. It was not open though so we jut took this picture and moved on. We found it difficult to find a restaurant where the kids could find something they liked to eat. We also noticed not many places sold breakfast. We happened by a restaurant near our hotel though that did serve an actual breakfast. Elli liked the hot chocolate the best. She is enjoying our time in Paris though. Micah is loving all the dogs and "walleycockies!"
