We made a much anticipated and needed trip to Canada to visit family and to celebrate Grandpa's 91st birthday. But we first stopped by to see Aunt Marg. She had fallen and was quite bruised up so Micah is showing her his owie on his knee. :)
She was happy to see us and it was good to visit her as well.
I love that my kids are huggers.
So sweet.
Micah seriously couldn't wait to get on these tractors.
I love that he got to have this opportunity.
Brent and I enjoyed a little four wheeler ride while Elli and Micah toured the farm in the tractor with Grandpa.
Great Grandpa decided to mow the lawn while we were there.
He couldn't get enough of this digger. He had to check it out from every angle.
You can imagine his excitement when he got to ride in the front bucket of the loader as well. He knows all these terms and was saying, "I ride in the front bucket!"
Elli got a little terrified when she looked down and noticed a spider web in the bucket. She got out before it went over the corn.
Pure joy for this little boy!
This is one thing Elli couldn't wait to do. Ride that four wheeler. She and Brent went on several rides.
They helped daddy get it put away.
That evening Dave and Louise came over with their little girls.
Time to celebrate Great Grandpa's birthday.
Louise made him a hat for the party. Not sure how thrilled he was to wear it but he was a good sport about it for the pictures at least.
These two posers were looking for the best place for a picture to look similar to the ones Larry took with Aria and Lily. Funny.
I like this one the best.
Just relaxing in his favorite chair.
As we were heading out to go to Ann and Carl's for the night, this lady rode up on her horse and offered to let the kids have rides. Micah was ready to get down as soon as he got up. He said it was too big!
Elli couldn't believe it and was so very excited she couldn't stand it.
What a sweet lady.
These two ended up sharing a bed simply so Micah would go to sleep. it was a bit of a rough night. Micah was too tired and had a fever that day as well. We made it though. It was a great trip and we are so glad we got to go up.
