We were hesitant to let Elli try out for the high school musical due to the extreme time commitment. She did such a good job at the try outs though and was chosen to play the role of Gretyl. Her friend Molly was chosen to play Marta. She began practicing nearly every night in Nov and it went until the very end of February. Here they are right before the first performance.
I cried when I saw her walk on stage for the first time.
Off to a great start.

She made everyone laugh by really letting those kids have it with the pillow:) After this scene, she had a solo where she walked on stage singing, then the thunder struck and she ran back off!

Mom, Dad, and Grandma came on opening night. It was a dessert theater. So very good.
We were incredibly proud of her this first night, and the rest. She was simply amazing.

Aunt Cheryl and Aunt Sheila also thoroughly enjoyed it.
Look at all the flowers! She also got candy and other things. She loved all the attention but as you can see, she was very tired at the end of these first two nights.
