Egg Hunt and Some Cuteness

We put together the Annual Good Friday Egg Hunt again this year at PPC. Micah is running to find some.
We had to look for some pretty big areas to hide eggs with a big turnout of kids this year.
Leah came down again and stayed the day, including joining us for shopping and church afterwards.
 Micah happy to find some.
 Reach!
Little ruby was just following the other kids.  She found some though.
The big girls had fun too.
All the cousins enjoying their eggs and goodies.

I have to sneak up on Elli if I am going to record her playing.  She still loves to play with her doll house, princesses, and legos.  I wish these days could last forever, but I know they will not.  So, I snatch these moments when I can and really do enjoy just sitting outside her room listening to her imagination still.  She doesn't like me to play with her which is fine.  I just want her to be little forever.
I had to capture this adorable picture of Grant too.  He loves to watch the fire.  Sweet baby.

Annual Traditional Egg Coloring and Resurrection Rolls

Gonga and Papa just hanging out.
Elli invited her friend Abby over for egg coloring this year.  Each year we try to invite someone over.
 Micah invited the neighbor Lenny.
Each kid got 6 eggs to color.
These boys were also very serious.
I shared the Easter story tried to ask questions along the way.
The resurrection rolls give such a great way to share the Easter story with a visual.
They were ready to eat them but I made them answer questions first!
They enjoyed eating their rolls and spending the evening together.  Abby stayed the night. Lenny's mom walked down with his brother Rocco.  It was a late night.

Fund Raising

Elli and Lily had a good idea.  They wanted to raise money for Jenna and Justin.  So, they did some recordings about their desire to raise money to help the refugees through the work Jenna and Justin are doing.  They offered to bake chocolate chip cookies, brownies, and sugar cookie cut outs.  We then had a big baking day and Lily spent the night with us.  The cost was $10 a batch and these girls were great workers. So many friends and family members placed orders.

Ruby's 3rd Birthday- Princess Party

Selfie with the birthday girl.  She is a spunky, rotten, adorable little girl whom I love.
 The princesses:)
We had a dance party in the basement.
The boys made the princess poster on which the kids were going to "pin the hair."
They were very excited to take their turn.  Here is Micah's try.
 Even Elli played along:)
 Most of the kiddos:)
Ruby was so excited about her presents. Here she is opening our gift of new summer sandals.  She loved them.
Leah made a cupcake cake in the shape of a princess.
 Blowing out her candles.
 She is so sweet.
I love this picture of Micah hugging Ruby before we left.  I absolutely love that all of our kids are such good friends and enjoy each other.

Just Playing

We put the trampoline back out a little sooner than usual this year.  Micah, Elli and the neighbor, Lenny, were enjoying some warm weather and playing outside on the trampoline.
Micah is able to come up with fun things to play all the time.

Baptisms

This was a Sunday of some of our favorite little people getting baptized.  This is Landon Vacha.
Here is his sister Olivia.  I loved watching them get baptized and loved seeing Olivia clap so excitedly for her brother.  Baptisms always bring tears to my eyes, but this one especially did.
Travis got to baptize Cody.  Travis got a little choked up but did great sharing Cody's story.  My favorite is when Cody said, "Jesus, get in my heart!"
How I love this kid and feel so blessed to be part of the growth in these kids.

March 17th, Leah's Birthday and Celebration

Leah with some of the kids:)
I get her Lucky Charms every year as one of her gifts:)
 Dad looking super cute.
Leah and Matt.  I think this is a cute picture of them.
Me with my girl and the birthday girl.
 Grandma always styling:)
Leah made her own cheesecake dessert.
Lots of kids, all waiting for some dessert.
We then turned on a movie.
It was a good day and was a fun celebration.

Love These Kids

The pictures of my kids sleeping makes me remember them as little ones.
Elli and Bellah get to sleep together until Brent and I head to bed.
On Friday, March 16th, Elli went to midnight madness with her school.  The kids went bowling and skating, then came back to school at 2am.  We took Micah out for dinner and some Micah time. Both kids had great nights.  There was a storm coming in so they actually came back to the school at 1am and then Elli spent the night at Abby's house to celebrate her b
birthday!
