July 17-20, Norris Lake

 Friday morning there was a break in the rain so we decided to take advantage and go out on the boat.

 The water was actually warm:)

 But the air was cold when you got out.

 What to do when it rains?  Watch golf:)

 And a movie.  Frozen

 We needed a mid-morning break, so we jumped in puddles in the rain.  Look at the serious faces on Gloria and Micah!

 Micah was so excited to drive the boat.  Checking things out with Gary

 He couldn't see a thing, but it didn't seem to matter to him.

 Elli actually liked the jet skis.  She didn't necessarily like the wave jumping, but she did enjoy learning to drive it.  Heather, Elli and I rode them over to the water trampoline and let Elli drive one on her own, just right around us.  She was a little nervous about that but did a great job.

 Micah really wanted to drive the boat the whole time.  Gary was very kind to let him.

 She went out with Brent several times, of course, when it wasn't raining.

 Francine needed a nap!!!!!!

 Micah also loved the jet skis and yelled over and over, "Go fast!"

 Again, the air was cold.

 We let him nap in the big bed.  He loved it.

 Saturday was a rainy and cold day but we got out in the morning, and the evening.  Elli was so excited to ride over to get ice cream.

 Francine made an absolute mess, but loved every minute of it.

 Gloria ate most of Gary's and then begged for the rest of Heather's:)

 Micah really did love the boat.  He was excited to sit in his own seat.

 Boy do I love this face.

 My babies.  Sunday morning it was 63 degrees when we headed out on the boat.  We needed these snuggles to stay warm.

 Micah loved swimming in the lake, and drinking the water:)  It was warm thankfully, again on Sunday.

 I had a chance to ski and decided to take it!  I got up the first try.  I think it had been about 4-5 years since I last skied. It was fun.

 Heather also got to ski.   Sure made us miss the old days of boating and skiing.  Funny how you don't appreciate it until it is gone.
